How did Fantastic Family get started?
At Fantastic Family we believe in the incredible importance of family. We chose the word "fantastic" because it means exceedingly or unbelievably great and that's what family life at its best should be. Fantastic doesn’t mean perfect. My husband, Wayne, and I have never achieved that, but we’re always striving to be the best family we can be for God’s glory.
In a Fantastic Family members laugh, cry and grow together. We continue to encourage our four grown children and seven grandchildren with our mission to love, enjoy and serve each other as well as others and glorify God by being all He created each of us to be. One of our greatest joys is having our family playing, serving or praying together.
The word fantastic also is related to fantasy and play which we believe needs to be part of every fantastic family's life. Fantasy is the free play of creativity and imagination - the source of ideas and creative satisfaction! Creativity can take many forms from discussing an amazing event in Tommy Smurlee’s Adventures book to great team play on the basketball court.
Maybe you’re a ”start-over family“ – a newly blended family or perhaps one that’s been off track for a time. Welcome! God is the God of the ”start-overs.“ Our website resources can help you!
We believe we can all experience more family joy. May our products, books and ideas stimulate ways for your family to delight in being together and fulfilling God’s purpose for your lives. Our motto is, ”The glory of God is family fully engaged.“
God bless you and your family.
Be fantastic for Him,
